It looks like this isn’t a widespread problem, so we want to gather more information to help our investigation. If you could share some more information, that would be super helpful!
- Any specific players you’re using when this happens
- Which platform you’re on
- Your username
- Your connection type and ISP
- The formation you’re using
- What exactly happens before the issue occurs
- Does it happen after you change your squad or any players?
- Any other information that you belive are related
Thank you.

Hey EA_Pulsar
- No specific players, it happens with everyone
- PC through EA App
- clampciteh
- LAN Wired, Maroc Telecom optic fiber
- 4213
- It happens right after I flick the right stick, if I don't trigger manual control there is no issue
- That doesn't seem to be a factor as it's happened in the first minutes of the game multiple times, before any substitutions occurred.

I want to add that the issue also occurs when the opponent triggers the manual control. I have noticed it happening against both PC and console opponents. The game slows down massively for a few seconds, the longer the opponent takes to perform the throw-in the more significant the delay and ensuing speed-lag are.

Note: I tried to post a reply earlier this week, but unfortunately this forum was 'read only' at the time, i.e. the EA Forums were not working properly... which makes me wonder how many others have tried to post about this issue & couldn't?... for information, every other EA FC gamer I have spoken to so far has this throw-in issue, which suggests it's probably more widespread than EA currently acknowledge.
- Any specific players you’re using when this happens: No, all players appear affected
- Which platform you’re on: PC
- Your username: General-Richa
- Your connection type and ISP: LAN Cable (into ISP supplied router), FTTP with 500Mbps download speeds, Vodafone (via Openreach network).
- The formation you’re using: Various, including 4-2-1-3, 4-1-2-1-2(N), 4-1-4-1 & 4-3-3.
- What exactly happens before the issue occurs: When a throw-in is awarded to me, my player has the ball ready to take the throw... however, (whether changing the thrower or using the original taker) if I then switch to the receiver, I unfortunately lose control of this receiver & the receiver simply drifts across the screen until I press the button to throw the ball, at which point the receiver may have wandered into an unintended position that potentially surrenders possession the opponent. Sometimes I do notice the game speed slowing down when switching to the receiver & then catching up after the ball is released from the thrower's hands, commonly referred to as 'speed-up lag'.
- Does it happen after you change your squad or any players?: It appears that it happens regardless of changes
- Any other information that you believe is related: Visually, it seems to be worse when my ping is LOWER... I have noticed with a connection ping of around 10ms I do get the speed up lag, whereas with a connection ping of around 22ms I just appear to get the receiver drifting across the screen. I do not know the reasons for that, (If I were to guess I'd question if the differences relate to being connected to different servers, or perhaps even something related to whatever lag compensation is coded into the game?)
