My connection is rock solid. I monitor it for other purposes.

The pattern is 100% consistent - first live event match of every session fails, only to push the user back to the main screen. I also see it when this happens to my opponent - on kickoff, I immediately get a message "opponent has forfeited the match" and get dumped out. Thankfully with no loss of daily entries in live events.
ANY issue with UT is reported as a connection issue. Error on SBC challenges (always in Marquee Matchup, if trying to submit multiple packs in a row)? Can't connect. Back to main menu. Error on Live events? Connection error, back to main menu.

Under the hood, ANY error condition on the API call to the EA servers - including internal errors at EA - are reported as connection errors. It's the standard error handler - rather than show a specific error, or error code, the message is "connection error".
This is not helpful for the community to diagnose the issues, nor is it useful for EA to be able to fix them.
