It is crazy how nobody says anything. I have a veryh good rig, and this game is THE ONLY game amongst everything I have it here, that overheats my processor up to 85C ! I can run pretty much everything in 4k, inckuding Battlefield6, that will not even reach 70F. But this game does exactly what you say here! barely uses GPU, and over uses processor! I have
- AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D 12-Core Processor,
- ASUS ROG Strix X870-A Gaming WiFi,
- G.SKILL Trident Z5 Royal Neo Series (AMD Expo) DDR5 RAM 64G
- Gigabyte AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 Master ICE 32G
This FC26 is the only garbage that does that with my processor.
you can't find no answer for this issue. I know on Battlefield6 there is a BF6.ini that is edited to help using less processor. Couldn't find anything like that to FC26
I am experiencing the exact same issue on a laptop system.
This confirms that the problem is not hardware-related,
as even high-end desktop systems with RTX 5090 and Ryzen 9 CPUs are affected.
This is clearly a CPU optimization / scheduling issue in FC 26.
