EA FC 26 - Bug Report: Multiple Issues Following Patch 1.3.0

Summary

After applying Patch 1.3.0, several bugs persist or have re-emerged, affecting kit display, camera customization, goal replays, and squad search functionality. These issues significantly impact gameplay immersion and usability, particularly for FC Basel fans and in Career Mode.

Bug 1: FC Basel Kits Revert to Incorrect Version (Missing Main Sponsor)

Severity: High (Visual/Aesthetic - Breaks authenticity)

Description: Immediately after updating to Patch 1.3.0, FC Basel home/away kits displayed correctly, including the main sponsor logo. However, within a few days, the kits automatically reverted to the pre-patch incorrect version, with the main sponsor completely missing from the front of the shirt. This occurs consistently across matches involving FC Basel (e.g., Kick-Off, Career Mode, Ultimate Team).

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Update game to Patch 1.3.0.
  2. Load a match featuring FC Basel (e.g., Kick-Off vs. any opponent).
  3. Observe kits initially (correct with sponsor).
  4. Play or simulate matches over 1-2 days.
  5. Reload a match – kits now incorrect (no sponsor).

Expected Behavior: Kits remain fixed with sponsor post-patch. Actual Behavior: Kits temporarily correct, then revert without sponsor.

Attachments:

  • Screenshot 1: Correct kits immediately post-patch.
  • Screenshot 2: Incorrect kits (missing sponsor) after a few days.

Bug 2: Camera Settings Unadjustable in Specific Stadiums (St. Jakob-Park) + UT Competitive Camera Disabled

Severity: High (Gameplay - Hinders customization)

Description: Camera settings cannot be adjusted or saved in certain stadiums, specifically St. Jakob-Park (FC Basel's home stadium). Additionally, the Ultimate Team (UT) Competitive Camera option is grayed out and permanently disabled, preventing its use in UT matches.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Enter a match at St. Jakob-Park (e.g., Kick-Off or Career Mode).
  2. Attempt to adjust camera settings (e.g., height, zoom, angle) via settings menu.
  3. Try enabling UT Competitive Camera in Ultimate Team modes.

Expected Behavior: Camera fully customizable per stadium; UT Competitive Camera selectable. Actual Behavior: Settings locked/unchangeable in St. Jakob-Park; UT Competitive Camera disabled.

Bug 3: Goal Scoring Camera Incorrectly Centers on Pitch Midpoint

Severity: Medium (Gameplay - Disrupts celebration immersion)

Description: Upon scoring a goal, the camera abruptly snaps to the exact center of the pitch (midpoint between goal lines) instead of focusing on the scorer, celebration, or standard replay view. This occurs in all game modes.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Load any match.
  2. Score a goal (manually or AI).
  3. Observe camera behavior during celebration/replay.

Expected Behavior: Camera follows scorer or uses dynamic celebration view. Actual Behavior: Forced center-pitch zoom, blocking key action.

Bug 4: Goalkeeper Position Search Fails to Auto-Populate in FUT Squad Screen

Severity: Low-Medium (Usability - Minor workflow disruption)

Description: In Career Mode, when selecting or searching for the Goalkeeper (GK/TW) position in the squad management screen, the search field does not auto-populate with "GK" or "TW". Players must manually type the position abbreviation each time.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Enter FUT > Squad Hub/Management.
  2. Click to search/filter by position.
  3. Select "Goalkeeper" from dropdown.
  4. Observe search field remains blank.

Expected Behavior: Search field auto-fills with "GK" or "TW" upon selection. Actual Behavior: Field empty; manual entry required.

Additional Notes

  • All issues appeared or persisted immediately after Patch 1.3.0.
  • No mods/custom content used; game files verified clean.
  • Reproduction consistent across multiple sessions/devices (if applicable).
  • Request: Priority fix for kit authenticity and camera issues, as they directly affect licensed content and core gameplay.

Please investigate and patch these in the next update. Thank you for your attention!
