If you have an NVIDIA GPU, try the following and let us know which, if either of the suggestions, helps you. Thank you. EA_Barry.

Hi EA_Barry, thanks for the response.
I do have an NVIDIA GPU. I tried both suggestions:
- Reset all NVIDIA Control Panel 3D settings to defaults
- Verified Power Management is set to Normal and Low Latency Mode is Off
Unfortunately, neither helped. My issue is more fundamental — eaanticheat.sys is never written to disk at all. The installer runs, creates registry entries for the service, but never copies the driver file to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\.
My system details:
- Windows 11 (recent build)
- No Memory Integrity (HVCI disabled)
- No Vanguard, no Smart App Control
- McAfee has no kernel drivers running
- Clean Steam reinstall (~57GB) did not fix it
- Manual installer runs (EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe --noui --install --read-cfg) silently fail — no .sys file, no error
The service fails with Error 87 (ERROR_INVALID_PARAMETER) because the kernel driver binary simply doesn't exist. pnputil /enum-drivers shows no EA AntiCheat package in the driver store either.
This matches the exact issue reported by Simxn30197 in this thread. The NVIDIA GPU settings fix addresses crashes during matches, but our problem is that the game never launches at all because the anticheat driver installation is silently broken.
Is there any update from the Game Team on a fix for the installer itself?
Thank you.

Hi, I'm experiencing almost exactly the same issue you described here.
Were you ever able to resolve this? If so, could you please share what finally fixed it?
