Edit Teams and Kick Off mode are broken functions of EA FC26

We play locally and edit teams to make custom squads. We have done this for years on FIFA and there was never an issue until FC25 where the game crashed after you edited teams and tried to play The ...

Game version: FC25 and FC26

Mode affected: Kick Off, Career Mode, Tournaments, Edit Teams

Issue type: Squad saving / team sheet bug

Description: After editing club transfers in Edit Teams, team sheets become locked and no further changes will apply.
  • Players are frozen and cannot be moved in team sheets.
  • Custom tactics and player roles do not apply.
  • Lineup changes appear to save but are lost when restarting the game.
  • When I reopen the game and reload squads, none of the changes are present.
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Go to Edit Teams
  2. Make club transfers
  3. Save squads
  4. Try changing team sheets or tactics
  5. Close the game
  6. Reopen and reload squads
Expected Result: All transfers, team sheets, tactics, and roles should save and apply normally.

Actual Result: All changes reset or fail to load. Team sheets are locked and unusable.

Frequency: Occurs every time

Workarounds tried: Restarting game, resaving squads… NO EFFECT

    It's our legal right to have a game that's working. We paid a lot of money for this title. IT'S BEEN 3 MONTHS, TIME TO FIX THE ISSUE

      I was secretly hoping this would be solved by Xmas but nothing from EA, not even an acknowledgement. Has anyone tried to actually get in touch with them through other means? They ignore our posts here

      What’s even worse tho is this problem was a thing not only just in FC26 but this was a thing since the launch of FC25 and was somehow never patched during that games lifecycle and now a “new” game released with literally the exact same game breaking problem that again hasn’t been patched and it’s January. I don’t think EA really care about making a good game at all I mean this is so game breaking that it literally can crash your game if you do enough….how this could still even be a thing is an embarrassment.
