FC26 PS5 - Fresh Install Fails with CE-107928-7 (Corrupted Data)

EA_Barry​ thank you, but it is still not working. I have tried using LAN, WIFI and using my phone’s hotspot. Still nothing. Still same problem

I’ve now tried everything suggested — different connection types, Safe Mode Rebuild Database, a different user account on the console, and Restore Licenses. The issue is exactly the same, failing at the same point every time.

At this point I’ve been unable to access a game I paid for, for over two weeks. Another user in this thread confirmed the identical issue after a full factory reset. Can this please be escalated to the technical/CDN team rather than continuing with standard client-side steps?​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Check if you can download while using a different connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet).

Also, check if you can complete the download/install while using a new or different user on the console. Thank you. EA_Barry.

I'm experiencing the exact same issue on PS5 in Saudi Arabia.

FC 26 download starts normally, then suddenly slows down and eventually gets stuck. On one attempt, it stopped completely and gave me error CE-107928-7 – “The data is corrupted.”

I deleted FC 26 completely and tried a fresh download, but the same issue happened again.

This does not appear to be a general internet or PS5 storage issue. My connection is working normally, and I tested downloading other games. Roblox downloaded and installed successfully, and Fortnite is currently downloading at normal speed with no issues.

The problem appears to affect FC 26 specifically.

I have already restarted the PS5 and router, tested the network connection, and cleared the PS5 system software cache. The issue still persists.

Same here — exactly the same symptoms. At this point with 3+ users confirming identical behavior after exhausting all local troubleshooting (including factory reset), this really needs to be escalated to the CDN/backend team rather than treated as a client-side issue.

I am running into the same issue as well. Ever since the latest fifa update, i’m running into issues with downloading/updating fifa. At first i tried updating, but it wouldnt let me download the update. So i deleted the app and attempted to redownload, but it didnt let me to - saying the file is corrupt. I rebuilt data base, deleted cache and even did a ps5 reset to factory settings - yet it is still not working. 100% a server-side issue

I already performed a Safe Mode Rebuild Database before contacting Sony support, and again after the console repair — the issue persisted both times with the exact same error at the exact same point. As mentioned, the PS4 version installs fine and the hardware has already been checked by Sony. This strongly suggests a server-side issue with the PS5 package specifically, as also reported by another user in the linked thread. Could this be escalated to your backend/CDN team?
