How to void a match when you’re losing and make it as if it never happened

 I was playing Season Online on PS4 and PS5 FC26. I’m winning 3-0 in the first half, but the opponent turned off their power during the first half and the match was nullified. However, this has been happening since way back (when I started online at 22 (though this only happened twice in 1000 matches, so it might be negligible compared to now) 23 24 25, and both 24 and 25 were eventually fixed towards the end. (I quit 25 due to losing motivation from this bug, so I don't know if it was actually fixed.)

 I thought I read somewhere that version 26 would fix this to give a clean victory, so I considered buying it again after a long time, but it hadn't changed. It happened again yesterday. Of course, I quit immediately after that match. I'm seriously considering selling it. This is for real.

I've said it for years, but I believe this is more serious than any other FIFA bug. Because in a soccer game, soccer matches are being nullified. No matter how much I think about it, I just can't understand it. This game, already plagued by poor manners, causes daily stress with taunts and performance issues. I make sure I can't see my opponent's performance, but I believe winning against those taunts means winning the actual soccer match. I'll never forget being told "congrats on the invalid match" after winning because of this bug that's been around forever. This glitch remains in PS4 chat. I don't understand why it's been allowed to persist without being fixed or acknowledged. FC𓏸𓏸 no loss glitch - please search for it, developers. There are many people like me and this thread. Yet for some reason, famous players don't address it. They don't notice it. Only skilled players notice it. Because less skilled players rarely think to turn off their power.

 I sincerely hope this bug gets eradicated.

 This is the only game I can really get into, so this is just too sad.

I'll say it again and again, but I think this is the biggest bug in gaming history. I was playing Fortnite and my Victory Royale got revoked, all my kills were erased, I won a match in Valorant but it was just erased,

 Anything is fine. If you're reading this, think of your favorite game. You win a match and celebrate, but when you return to the lobby, it's like it never happened. Would you want to play a game like that? I accept FIFA's bugs. The reason is love. The bug where creating multiple formations messes up player positioning wasn't fixed in FC26, but that's okay too. But I really want this one bug fixed. Honestly, that's all I ask. If you do that, I promise I'll keep buying it forever.

Finally, for those who've read this far, I'll let you in on a secret: switching off the power when you're losing a match means it won't happen for a few matches. Now that everyone knows this, they're all gambling by switching off. (PS4.PS5)

I wrote these comments a month after purchasing the game. However, nobody saw them. Because of a similar, glaring bug that’s been cropping up, I haven’t been playing the game, so I don’t know exactly what’s going on, but I feel that a golden opportunity like this might never come again, so I’m commenting once more.

Since then, countless matches have been written off. I still cannot understand it.

My theory is that the team is split into two groups: those who make the game and those who create the updates. In other words, I suspect that even if this bug is fixed later, the fact that it reoccurs in new releases suggests there is a problem with the development team’s underlying infrastructure.

I simply cannot understand why, after going to the trouble of releasing an update, they would release a new version and make us start from scratch (or perhaps even worse). Still, I’ll accept it. I’ll apply it. I never complain to EA, even when they force themselves to create weird new features (just to look cool) and add a hundred bugs. Even if the game freezes, I’ll just reinstall the app. But could you at least fix the invalid matches?

In my experience, there were an absolute load of invalid matches in 26 compared to 25. I reckon some of you might have noticed that, right? I’d mentioned it to loads of people in chat before, but nobody seemed to get what I was on about—it looks like more people are finally catching on now.

By the way, didn’t the probability of invalid matches drop around Christmas? It’s finally back to the same level as in 25 now, hasn’t it? 🤣

Also, the effects are actually determined before the match even starts, and I was able to prove that thanks to those invalid matches.

Seriously, there are effects that can give even the worst players an advantage in a match. And I managed to beat them twice, mind you. 🤪
