[PS5] Online Seasons match not recorded after connection lost
Hello EA Team,
I would like to report a bug affecting Online Seasons on PlayStation 5.
I have already reported this issue through EA Help (Case #250384184) and was advised to post it here in case other players are experiencing the same problem.
Platform: PlayStation 5.
Game Mode: Online Seasons.
Frequency: Approximately 1 out of every 10 matches.
After playing an Online Seasons match almost to completion, usually around the 80th to 90th minute, I receive the message "Lost connection with opponent."
When I return to the Seasons menu, the match has completely disappeared. No win or loss is recorded, my Season progress is unchanged, and it is as if the match never happened.
The expected behaviour is that if the connection to the opponent is lost near the end of the match, the result should either be processed according to EA's rules or at least remain recorded in the match history.
Instead, the entire match disappears.
The most interesting observation is that EA Connect still records the opponent. Immediately after the issue occurs, the opponent appears under "Played Together" and "Recently Met", and the correct game mode is shown. However, the match is missing from Online Seasons history.
This suggests that the match reaches EA's servers but the Online Seasons result is never committed.
I have attached a video, screenshots and the timestamp of the incident. I can also provide additional information if needed.
If anyone else has experienced the same issue in Online Seasons, please comment below or upvote this report.
Thank you.
