Error Code 852146987

having this issue out of nowhere today. game has been working just find zero issue even played the night before. got home after work today and this error every time.

Sorry to hear that the 852146987 error has been persistent. I've merged your post with the existing bug report for this. 

A player mentioned that disabling quick resume was able to fix this for them, so it might be worth a try, along with our connection troubleshooting steps. We appreciate your patience in the meantime. 

I keep getting error code either 852146987 or the error code for platform and it just says configuring for 5 min or shorter then error code I’ve done everything searched everything i dont know what to do pls help i want to play skate its been like this for a month now.

Have this problem since closed beta. They'll never fix it I guess.

I just had this issue on Xbox for the first time and disabling quick resume for it fixed it for me.

For me it all started in September 2025, it started giving me this error code 852146987 (Screenshot 1) and after an update this code turned into 461960325 (Screenshot 2) practically banned from the matchmaking servers, for no reason. I also played the pre-alpha, but since the game was released for everyone I have no longer been able to log in, I created a second account and play without any problems but it's not the same since my main account is this one, I contacted support for months and they never knew how to do anything. I would really like to know the reason since they don't know either and there is no violation on my account

Haven’t been able to connect to EA servers at all for five days due to the error code posted above. I have tried everything possible to fix it.

You do realize that a clean boot isn’t gonna do anything when it’s configuring with the server that’s on YOUR end right? 

They are still saying it’s on my end. I’m so over their inability to own up on their mistakes.
