my friend and i are also having this same issue except we're both on PS5. haven't found a fix either! it seems to occur mostly to the party leader
It happened to me and a friend too. Whoever is on the furtherest purple mission should keep going until it stops.
update: occasionally it can be fixed if you go to spectate someone then hold X (PS) or A (Xbox). But the chances are slim. most of the time i just wait for them to pop back into frame only to see then disappear minutes later again. Do with this info as you will
