Javelin anti-cheat halts game startup - says that Daemon Tools is installed. It isn't. I looked on other forums for a solution. I reinstalled, verified game files. I tried uninstalling VPN and Anti-virus, rewasd, and the logitech and 8bitdo apps. I tried both steam and ea app versions. It just won't start. I gives me the same error screen every time. Help me! I want to Skate.
There's been a number of other reports of this, myself included, in the past 3 months that have gotten ZERO acknowledgement or help, so pretty much those of us having this issue are pretty much $hit outa luck and I don't know what Daemon tools is. EA doesn't care about a small percentage of people in a free-to-play game.
I know it's a bit of time since this post but I thought the same thing. Went to add/remove programs in my start menu and Daemon Tools Lite was there. Removed it and Javelin decided everything was fine. Hope this helps someone because I spent too much time trying to find the issue.
