[MEGATHREAD] Failed to Connect Error 852146987

Haven’t been able to load up my game all day and I can play other games no internet connection issue    [Thread title changed for clarity and tracking purposes. EA_Claus]

Hello everyone,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.

In order to help our teams investigate, could you please give us some more info:

  • Platform
  • Username you're playing with (Gamertag, PSN ID, or EA ID)
  • Is Crossplay enabled or disabled? Does changing it help?
  • Screenshot of the error

In the meantime, you can follow those few steps: 

  1. Disable VPN if you use one
  2. Check that the EA App is not in offline mode if on PC
  3. Check this Connectivity FAQ.
  4. Try to restart or even re-install the game

Let us know if you see any improvements.

Platform PS5,

EA ID: FaesLO,

PSN ID: Its_Fookin_Faes,

can't even access the crossplay, stuck on home screen, can press x but then get the error code 852146987. Deleted the game several times. Turned the PS5 on and off.. nothing seems to help. Made a new PSN account, and on that account i have no problems to play..
