Hi so i was trying to play some skate and whenever i open my game it just says "This software cannot be used at the same time as the game please make sure its not running or restart your pc DISCSoftLTD (dameon tools) Ive never installed this and i checked device manager it isnt there neither is it in my background processes or my files, someone please help it would be greatly appreciated

Same issue, but without any mention of dameon tools.
rewasd doesnt play nice with javelin anti cheat. i had to remove it and switch to dsx, they just released 3.1 with auto profiles so its finally a good alternative
I've had rewasd installed but I uninstalled it months ago, I still get the same issue

Game Booting / Anti-Cheat Issues
Sometimes, AntiVirus or our EA Anti-Cheat software can block skate. from booting.
- Try adding skate.exe to your anti-virus's list of whitelisted applications.
- EA AntiCheat will report which piece of software needs to be closed in order for skate. to run.
- Some home automation or device controls may contain "Interception". A post with steps on how to remove this can be found by clicking here.
- For DiskSoft errors, you will need to uninstall/disable DAEMON Tools, ReWASD or Astroburn.
