(steam) Game black screens and freezes, or restarts computer at launch

upon opening skate (steam), its like playing russian roulette on weather it will crash or restart my pc as a whole. i can play the game fine when it feels like working, but occasionally on launch those two things happen.

another bug with this game is being stuck on config when in the main menu, you can sit and wait as long as you like, but it constantly loops the configuring settings banner and never loads you into the game.

Have absolutely loves every second of playing, but i really hope this gets fixed. it is very annoying having these issues occur any time i just wanna skate
