I am still encountering this issue. It hadn't happened in awhile.
I can't tell you what sequence of events are causing it.
Mobile client, Android
Audio FX and sound are ON.
Playspeed at 4x
Buff icons are not collapsed.
It was during my turn when it occurred. I can still open Settings (top left) and game chat window. I had to forfeit.
I attached a screenshot, if that is helpful. The icons at the bottom right are gone. The turn meter indicator also disappeared.
