Having similar issues to others, impossible to upgrade her and loaned units all at 0. Not able to get any progress in coliseum at all. Can this be fixed?

Loaned units gain levels from the free calendar gained from the in game store or webstore, if you haven't been and collected it already, I'd start there. Other options for gaining loaned unit levels are purchasing the Episode pass, pass+ and purchasing the first character pack, since you've missed out on the ones available from the Mara Jade Marquee event now.
