I did get the 1000crystal popup, and then later got repeated errors when trying to load the game... At least 3 times in a row, after initializing the game and loading cantina. I got a message saying the game encountered and error and needed to restart.
I do access the game on Android and PC client... I got the credit pop-up when I accessed the game on Android. And the login errors started to occur when I tried to login via the PC client. One theory is that it was the Pop-ups that were was causing the login errors.
My Captian Silvo was at 4 starts. I do have the others pirates at 5 and 6stars. I am sure I got no additional shards of Vane/Silvo... I do not know about the others as I do not know exactly how many shards I had.
The Errors occurred about 40 hours ago.
