I had the exact same issue this morning in GAC 3v3. I played Great Mothers with Morgan and Spirit against Omega (Fugetive) and two other new Bad Batch characters. I believe they were Wrecker and Hunter Mercenary.
I doomed Wrecker first. I got him down and he went captive. After a few turns he died.
Next I doomed Omega (Fugetive), but I noticed she was not taking any damage. I went after Hunter Mercenary. He went captive. After a few turns he died.
I focused back on Omega (Fugetive). There were damage numbers showing next to her when I attacked, but she wouldn't take any damage. Her Max Health went down to what looked like 1 health point due to doomed, but no kill was possible. I timed out.
