It's horrifying, isn't it!  My only suggestion is to link every EA employee that visits SWGOH forum and hope they do something.

    This is the worst support process I've ever had to go through. Honestly, I'm to the point of escalating as high as I can go, and then just refunding everything I've spent and quitting the game. I'm so over this.
