This is not a bug. This is how the events work for the three big ships. They only show up in events after you have it unlocked. You will have to wait until next month.
I suggest taking the month to stockpile crystals so you can do as many refreshes as possible when the event comes back.
Well if it's not a bug then the way it works makes no sense whatsoever. Since i have 24 hours to do this in a month (all without being notified in-game about the event's availability), i guess i'll have to set up calendar reminders for these which is just ridiculous. Moreover, the newer journey guides that are not yet available on-demand (JMMW currently) all show up under events when the event is active, so i really don't see how this would be difficult to achieve for the developers for the GL ships as well.
Yeah, it's not very intuitive. However, once unlocked, it will then show up in events like every thing else.
