[AA] Competition getaway: no prize money after reloading save

I have one sim, male, who won the Fitness retreat competition, but he didn’t get any of the prize money.

Another one of my sims, in a different save, won the Romantic Competition and got the prize money. But I wasn’t happy with who she won the competition with, so I reloaded the save. After winning again I didn’t get the prize money. I tried a second time, and still no prize money. I tried a third time after removing my mods, and again there was no prize money. I got the money on my fourth try though.

It seems like, if you reload the game at any point during the getaway, there is at least a 75% chance you loose out on the prize money.

My Sim has won the archery contest several times and has not been given the prize money.

New save, new sim. My sim won the Fitness retreat competition, and I did not receive any simoleon reward.
I did not reload the game, but I did travel to different lots during the getaway.

Okay, I just had 2 of my sims participate in the William Tell Memorial Archery Contest. One of them won 1st and the other won 3rd. First place should have gotten $2500. Third place should have gotten $250. I got $750. As 2nd place is supposed to be $500, I'm guessing it's giving me 2nd and 3rd prize money, but not the first place prize money.
I exited without saving and tried again. Same results exactly. $750, again.
Never used mods or cc with this save.
