[AA] Critter Hunter: Go Fishing with Buddy only works with household members

I am having the same issue on PS5 😭 my Sim was fishing all day with a friend and even became good friends and still nothing.

Any workarounds? I’m having the same issue and I can’t complete the aspiration because of it. :/

Could you test if it works if you do it with a household member. Think there's a bug with this.

I tried it with a household member and still did not work :(

Can't complete it tried everything and I am on xbox one think it bug out hope they fix it 

I came here to report the same bug and tried your workaround and it worked for me. I'm not sure if any member will work since I only have two in this household, mom & son. I play on PC. Thanks Crin 💜 

Hi, how long did you have to fish for? Was it instant?

It was pretty much instant. I was surprised it worked so fast considering I'd been trying for a few sim hours with other sims 😅

I had my cheats enable and my game seems to get really buggy when I have them on, so turned them off, restarted my game and then added someone to my household. It instantly completed once I invited that sim to fish. Thanks for the suggestion!! 🎇

This worked for me - I adopted a child and it triggered as soon as we started fishing together.
