[AA] Critter Hunter: Go Fishing with Buddy only works with household members

Hi I'm trying to complete the Critter Hunter aspiration that came with the new expansion released yesterday and I am having a problem with completing the Go Fishing With A Buddy. It seems pretty easy...

I can't do it either. I never used mods or cc. I tried with friend, good friend, and random sims. On pc. I'm playing a single young adult, no family to invite. 

EA you managed to wreck my sims skills 2 times trying to use the work around. I'm done playing this broken game.
