I’m not sure how to title this to explain everything I’ve experienced. Lately, I’ve encountered two issues with the getaway gameplay.
First, I tried to host a romantic competition on another lot (not my Sim’s house), but I scheduled it too long and got bored after a few Sim days, so I ended the getaway before all participants were eliminated. After the loading screen when going home, I saw participants gathering around my Sim’s house, it's different Sims but still with their flagged roles. They were using my Sim’s house as if it were still a getaway... I don’t know why. Luckily, I had saved the game before my Sim ended the getaway. So, I just closed the game and started again. After that, I ended the getaway, and it returned to normal.
Second, with a different household, I tried to plan a getaway, but my Sim only did the calling animation. The plan getaway pop-up appeared but after I made some plans and configurations and clicked 'Done,' the 'Start Getaway' pop-up didn’t show. I tried planning again with the same result, so I tried once more, but it still didn’t work. I got frustrated and realized I might need to reload the household by go to manage world (without saving). And yes, after reloading the household, the pop-up appeared, then I clicked 'Yes, I’ll be right there.' After the loading screen, another pop-up showed up, it looks like the pop-up got delayed. In the end, I exited the game without saving and started again, that problem didn’t happen again.
Additional Info: Yes, this happened with mods/CC installed, and no, I don’t want to test it again without mods because I know it’s hard to reproduce, and I don’t want to waste my time waiting for the glitches to happen again. I’m writing this just to inform the TS4 team that the getaway system somehow has glitches. I don’t have screenshots because it just happened, and I exited the game. Maybe it’s because of my mods, or maybe not? Who knows? Let’s see if others experience this too or not.
