I just looked into my Sims' calendar and Glow and Flow does not show there on a new moon in my pre-AA save, but it does show in a fresh one.
I'm not sure about the other festivals. Are they on the calendar at all? At least I didn't get any notifications about festivals so far and have never seen one yet 😐
