This happened to me as well during my Twitch stream today. Unfortunately, I couldn't pinpoint the exact cause of the missing relationship with my child sim's imaginary friend. I will go back to watch the VOD and update my post if I find any answers. During my stream, I showed off how my sim & his friend were BFF's with the cool fist bump & that her name was Kora Craft. Later in stream I went to interact with the doll again and I got the starting interaction with the doll. All the progress & relationship was lost.
