I don't know if it's intentional but Getaway can't be used to complete "Go on a Vacation or Travel" tradition because it cancels Holiday when the sim goes there.

It happened with me too! It automatically ended the New Year's Eve (it was the same day I started the getaway) and then during the getaway my created holiday Bunny Day didn't happen. I wanted to know if it was intentional as well...
Having the same issue. I really want to use Getaways with Seasons holidays but the holidays keep ending once the getaway begins.
