I sent two of my sims on the Wellness / Fitness retreat (the one that comes in the world with Adventure Awaits) during the fall on a warm (not hot or heatwave) day and one of my sims got the "overheating" moodlet and then the "burning to death" notification for no reason. It wasn't hot and she was wearing her everyday and then athletic outfits. When I tried to put in a thermostat and to put the sim in her hot weather clothes nothing happened, and her hot weather outfit turned into her athletic outfit. She didn't die of overheating, she was able to go to sleep but the moodlet had +99 and wouldn't go away when I tried to reset her using just the resetsim cheat and testingcheats. Also moving her out of the household and back in didn't fix it either, neither did getting her the heatproof trait.
I just ended up going back to a recovered save before they went on the getaway, but I do still have the save where the issue was happening. I don't use any mods or CC, and I have done the Love Island competition getaway with no issues, though that was with only one sim, this was the first time trying to have two sims go on the same getaway. My game was also very laggy when I tried to go on the getaway but I don't know if that was related to the overheating issue.
