I havent had a restaurent in forever. Why are the meals in the kitchen? Arent waiters supposed to take it to the customers? Or could you build things so the staff doesnt leave the meals in the kitchen but in an area where customers have access to but not in the kitchen?
Try this if you still want to lock the kitchen down.
Select the chef, lock the doors for everyone but the chef. Then select the door and "unlock for specific sim...". Select the staff.
Or after locking it for everyone but the chef, select the door and choose "allow access to..." -> employees.
Zasz_Zerg, I think you misunderstood NastasiaZi issue. This is the getaway gameplay from AA, not the restaurant gameplay from DO, where there are no waiters or chefs counted as employees. So, locking the door for everyone but employees isn’t a solution because there’s no option for that or unlock for specific Sim. The only option is "lock the door for everyone but played household members."
NastasiaZi, I have a better workaround than locking/unlocking the door:
So far, I’ve succeeded with that, but in my case, I need way more time for the chef to prepare food because it’s so laggy during getaways. Sims just stand around.
