the pop up for the science career don't pop up. it's the pop that you can choose whether to go with the sim to work or not. i just updated (7-1-25) my game too. no i don't have mods.

I am sorry that you are having this issue. Are there holidays happening in your game when they are due to go to work?
No Holidays or extra things happening, he does go to work, but I can't join him.
