Adults/teens/children at work/school on reload trying to skip work/school

Adults/Teens/Children at school/work during lot reload are prompting them all to come home, effectively skipping school/work. I had 1 sim on their home lot - a residential small business lot, the bus...

Same thing is happening to me. If my adult sims are at work when my children get home from school, the children can't leave the home lot or else the adults will come home early without any way to prevent it.
