I have had the same issue with my lots being empty on load, this includes residential, rental, libraries, gyms, bars, and all specialty lots including the hidden worlds, vacation lots, and even when traveling to mt. Komorebi for snowy escape, no ski lift.. Every type of lot - gone.
While I know I can rebuilt most residential lots, no way to replace specialty lots, such as the ski lift, or special events such as the fenwick fair, or ravenwood events, the woods, and then we can talk about the apartments in San Myshuno where nothing can even be built in the useless apartments. All the specialty places in Granite Falls, Selvadorada, and Batuu - gone. Strangerville game play impossible as the lab is gone,
First I uploaded all my saved sims to gallery, and imported into a new save, after a week of playing all lots started deleting.
Second, I created a brand new game save with new sims to test if it was a bad save following any bad data to cause corruption, and with this save I turned off all my cc and mods (realizing how boring the game is without my mods). I also removed all mods and CC from folder before save, before game-play. I did all the repairs, clear cache, and reset as many things as I could before starting a fresh save. The only thing I did not do was remove the game completely and re-download.
Still same result, lots disappearing on load. Nothing. Lots started being empty at day 10 of in-game play. About 3 days of Real life.
I don't think this problem is as simple as a corrupted file save, or blaming cc or mods.
In addition to the lots disappearing, it seems there are other functions in the game that are not working correctly. Like my infant not sleeping in crib and automatically being reset and ending up on the floor (minor inconvenience). Need decay is atrocious, especially for a baby, making game play ridiculous and boring.
I hope this information is helpful to determine the problem. I have been playing some version of the game since 2005, this is the first time I have had to leave a comment for help as there is no information on this issue. What is available does not apply to this.
Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.

What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox). Please pick a thread tag for that.
playing on PC - it is difficult enough to find help, much less search for the right tag. Trying to find help with this specific issue has been very difficult. I can usually find answers, and problem solve what is happening. I think this is a brand new issue.
Threads are incredibly difficult to navigate and can take an entire evening searching. If I search this specific issue, there are thousands of threads that pop up and none of them are this.
Yes I have tried several different suggestions from other threads.
Do you have any endless loading on any lot ?
Occasionally there is a long load screen, but nothing out of the usual. Occasionally the game freezes and I have to open task manager and end task manually. Most of the time loading screens are normal.
Do you have any Error 800/801 on any lot
No error codes.
Did this start happening after the recent patch or did you have issues before ?
Only started happening in July 2026.
How big is your save game
I have multiple sizes of saved games that I have been playing since 2016. Saves that i know are effected, one is large, one is where I uploaded my sims to gallery and imported to a new save, and one save is a brand new start with no saved sims, no mods, no cc. Game saves are variable in size.
Does the same happen if you start a new save (without mods/cc) for testing purposes

Do you own For Rent and do you have many residential rental lots of you do ?
Yes I own For Rent. Old game has 2 more residential lots then what comes with the game. Second attempt I did not add any new lots. New game has no new lots, only what is already in-game.
