I do not use mods or cc, I'm playing on a HP envy laptop. I'm referring to multiple instances over multiple save files of either my sims, a butler, or a maid vacuuming one object (usually a puddle or a dirty diaper) for hours

If I drag the offending object to the trash the maid will stop vacuuming and go about his/her business. Otherwise they are stuck forever vacuuming.
No mods or CC here either and I have all the packs.
