[BH] Business open when visiting as guest after visiting as customer

So I have a save with several small businesses, and i want to visit one of them as a friend, not a customer, but every time i go to the lot, the business is open. I selected to visit as a guest, but...

i just encountered this bug, same steps. problem is i only noticed it much too late to role it back without losing too much progress. is there nothing else that can be done other than to sell the business?
