[BH] Can’t open small business

Thanks I saw it and it fixed the problem. I can open the business now. I guess it was something to do with the old retail lot data.

Same issue as others, can't open the small business Panel. It was working initially but no longer. Tried the fixes mentioned here but not working.

Tried saving Lot to the gallery but when I try to place it I get a system error and the plot won't place.

I'm not sure if this is the same issue. I had no problem opening the small business panel. I couldn't use the sign or kiosk or panel to open the small business for customers - the business stayed closed no matter what, but I could see the panel and place lots.  I hope you can fix your issue.

HaneulFiery lot was never set as a retail lot. It was always a normal residential lot before I changed it to a small business venue, and I still can’t fix the problem, even with all mods removed. 

I think it's confusing because several seemingly different problems are being discussed in this thread. I think I had the issue OP had where I literally could not set the small business to "open". I never had issues with registration or white screens/crashing. It's hard to even troubleshoot all of these bugs. I hope they get fixed soon. 

I'm having the same issue as the other folks here, where I can not open a business from kiosk, signs, or the small business option menu. I will select the "open" option, but it never actually happens. The sign will flip or Kiosk will activate, but the options menu will still show that it is closed, and there will be no customers. 

I'm also having a different issue where residential parts of businesses can not be moved into, like they're not a residence at all. Yes, they are marked as living spaces vs employee or public areas. 

• Did you build the small business yourself from scratch or download something from the gallery ?
  Made myself, but I also tried with both a gallery and a premade venue. 
  
• Did you build the small business on a lot that used to be a residential rental at some point ?
  Regular empty residential or generic Newcrest lots; new save game right after the DLC launched.
• Is this for a small business venue or a residential with small business ?
  Both, but mostly tested with a regular small business. I couldn't get sims to acknowledge the residences attached to businesses as an option. 
  
• Do you have multiple lots for the business ?
  I have multiple business lots, but each one is a stand alone business. Each business is owned by a sim that owns only that business. 
  
• Do you have other businesses in the household ?
  No.
• Are there are mods installed?
  Only MCCC was on, and I've uninstalled it. Afterwards, I deleted the cache file mentioned in this thread, and repaired the game. All the same issues persisted. 

Same here! I built in a lot that used to be a retail store, and it's now a small business venue lot. 

I changed my retail lot to a small business lot and the business won't open. I've tried everything from clicking on the open button on the panel, trying to open from the kiosk. I even tried to replace the lot which still didn't work. I changed the lot type from small business to residential as well as replacing the lot with a residential lot, then after going back to manage worlds and loading back in and changing it back to small business from residential it still won't let me open the business. If I place the small business on another lot that had never had any history of being a retail lot, the small business will open. This makes me believe there is an error with retail lots becoming small business'.

  I downloaded a retail lot from the gallery and gave it a make-over.

  No. It was a Retail lot.

  Small Business Venue.

  No.
• Do you have other businesses in the household ?
  No.

I uninstalled my entire game after trying every “fix” out there. My game is still freezing in the small business panel when I try to set activities for the business, on a completely clean install.

im so disappointed. I really wanted this to be playable and it’s just not. I feel like I wasted my $$$ on this DLC 

Sorry your game's not working properly.  Does it freeze on new saves too or only on old saves after the fresh install?
