When I choose to create a family recipe my sim begins to create the recipe, gets halfway through, and stops. When I queue up "continue ---" she is unable to continue and the little "can't get there" ...

I'm having a similar issue, just not with the poke bowl.
I had two Sims try to make a honey cake with a secret ingredient of carrots and two different effects. Neither Sim queued up any action, nor was the family recipe created.
They were able to successfully create the white cake with a secret ingredient of carrots.
