When I choose to create a family recipe my sim begins to create the recipe, gets halfway through, and stops. When I queue up "continue ---" she is unable to continue and the little "can't get there" ...

I'm having an issue with no mods, on PC, freshly updated. Except instead of poke, it's with the cricket meal. When I finish all the choices and click the check mark, nothing happens, the action doesn't queue at all and the sim just continues what they were doing.
