And about the books: I play in a small business cafe + library where Sims can read books. In the video, you can see how they take them out and put them back. There are free seats and free cabinets with free space, but they don't put them there. Sometimes a couple of Sims may even read books, but they don't put them back. Even though I assigned the “clean up” action to small business visitors. And they clean up their cups, but not the books.
Outside of the small business, Sims clean up the books after themselves, and the butler also cleans them up. It only happens in the small business.
