[BH] Customers not paying for entry to small business

My small business is on the same lot as my household. I managed to get my business up to level 4 renown (Community Staple) - since then, the customers stopped paying for entry, whether I have it set as one-off payment or as an hourly payment. I can have the business open for over 20h and still not a dime. 

The customers are also glitching much more, gathering in random places like the bathroom or outside my house. 

The result is no money and -$75 balance at the end of each day due to cost of opening the business. 
Just to clarify, I don't have any of the 'angelic' alignment perks active (as I know some of them allow customers to walk in free), only the neutral ones.
