[BH] Eating all the candy instead of food

If my sims have the candy maker in their house and makes candy to then put in the fridge before I can bring it to their separate venue small business, ALL sims who autonomically go to the fridge to get something to eat will grab candy.

Maybe it does not count as a bug - but it certainly feels like one. Makes no sense and it seems sims are obsessed with candy like with other things like computers etc.

Does not matter if morning, lunch, afternoon, evening or middle of the night - they will always take candy over anything else to eat.

Age does not matter either; a child, adult or elder - all want candy, ALL the time.

Traits does not matter either; Foodie sim? Low(er) quality candy over excellent gourmet food? Of course. I wonder if lifestyles matter (the fast food one for example)? I'm gonna guess no.

It also does not matter how much other food I have in the fridge, the quality of it, how "old" that dish is (thought maybe that the candy is the freshest in the fridge so they gravitate towards that - no)

It is frustrating because I cannot keep up with making candy when everyone just keep eating it. (And locking the fridge in a separate room for only the candy maker to access kind of defeat the "life simulation" part of the game. Actually that would not work either because the candy maker also prefer candy.

This issue is the same as the pizza/ waffle thing, sims will gravitate to eat only that.

If you need them to sell pizza the food stall thing (stuff pack) that is frustrating as well, but you can keep the pizza and waffles in the food stand as it works as the fridge and the food does not spoil (more than if they were in a an actual fridge I mean). So this way you can have sims not grab those when going for something in the fridge to eat.

But this is not true for candy (I mean maybe I can out them in the stall from that stuff pack (have not tried)), but why would I have that stall if I sell candy in a separate small business?

Can you please have a look at the autonomous action to grab food from the fridge? What sims go for when doing so. There must be something in the game code that incentive sims to grab candy (pizza and waffles) all the time.

I understand sims should sometimes take candy even if I don't want them to since not all sims who use the candy machine will have a candy store somewhere. And if you don't have a small business selling them, the candy would just go bad in the fridge if no sim ever ate them.

BUT it makes no sense that all sims regardless of age/ traits etc and no regard for time of day - to grab candy to eat all the time over any "other" food.

Maybe I can understand children grabbing it themselves over anything else to eat, but elders? A celebrity chef/ foodie? (even choosing lower quality candy over higher quality food?)
