Not sure if this is related, but it seems ever since this has happened, my entire game is corrupted. Have tried playing a couple of times, but whenever I boot the game up it freezes on a pink screen and goes no further and I have to force shut down my laptop. It's leaving weird purple lines across my screen when I finally manage to turn my laptop back on.
All other games (Sims 1,2,3 etc work fine, it just seems to be Sims 4). I've tried repairing the game etc but it's like the error code happened, and now the whole game has crashed.
