[BH] Error code: 123:b378c837/ Can't close business

Having a similar problem!

My sim opened his business (which has been opened dozens of times prior.) One of my two employees was gone, but he was a ghost so I thought maybe he'd passed on. I hired another employee. When it came time to close my business, I couldn't. I tried traveling to another lot, but then I couldn't go home anymore. I deleted my property, moved the family (from the manage worlds view) and I could play the family again. As soon as I added my house/business back in (I had saved it in my gallery,) I could no longer load the family. I shut the game down, turned mods off, restarted, all that jazz. Nothing. So I restored a previous version and was successful. 
Now, I've tried to open my shop again, hire a new employee, and boom- it's no longer playable again. I get the error and can't access the family again. I've tried going back and restoring a previous save again, and it's not working this time... Now when I restore from a previous save, my business is completely gone in the business window and it has the "register a business" option there instead.
