[BH] Error code: 123:b378c837/ Can't close business

Getting an issue where I have a business which is permanently glitched as "open" , no matter what I do. I can't close or sell the business, and as it is based at my home lot, I cannot go home with my sim.  Store has been "open" for 23 sim hours and counting...  When I try to close the business, the sim T-Poses and nothing happens.

Error code: 123:b378c837:938c06ee

Fixes tried (none work):

Reloading game, loading old save (all are corrupted), removing mods (happens both with mods installed and without), moving sim to a new lot.

Please use this thread even if you don't get the 123:b378c837 error code if you can't close your business.

    So now this exact thing happened to one of my families. Can't close at all. I saw the screen glitch right before it happened too! Now ANY save with that family, whether it's a previous version of my save OR a whole different save file with the same family, they all glitch now. The other families and stores seem to be fine. I play vanilla so let me know if you want my saves

    I found a bit of a work around....I think. I restored a previous save and loaded the household. I had any household employees quit the business. Then I transfered the business to my sims boyfriend. I moved out the original business owner by herself when she loaded at her new house she no longer owned the business. I then went back and deselected the business to be associated with the lot and moved the bf out. He now owns the business and it's not associated with any lot. Just to be sure I bulldozed the house from the original house and replaced it with a copy I had saved on the gallery before all this started. I moved the og business owner back in with her daughter. Now no one in the og house owns any businesses. I purchased a small venue lot and put her business there. I renamed it just to be safe. It opens and closes! I had to sacrifice the bf but there's other, not bugged, fish in the sea! Hope this helps a little❤️

    I keep getting this error code when trying to load one of my family save and ive tried relaunching ive tried repair ive uninstalled and installed again. Other save files and families on that save file work just one doesnt and every time i try to load it it comes up with this error code. I dont have mods installed and dont play with cc.

    Nope. I'm guessing it will have to come out in an official Sims patch... until then our saves are broken.

     

    The only thing people can do is "like" my post so that the Sims team can see its an issue that needs fixing.

    (Businesses And Hobbies) Not sure what's going on here as I removed all of my CC and mods except for MC Command Center and Better Exceptions and they've both told me I have an issue with the business employee manager and said that it was an issue within EA, not my mods. The household I am playing with owned a business and I'm not sure if it made a difference, but I opened the business with no employees, only the owner. I then decided to sell the business and have had issues with this exception ever since. On the map, the lot was still owned by the household but in the 'buy a small business lot' section, they didn't own any lots. I then removed the lot on the map manually by changing the lot type so this family doesn't own a small business anymore and I'm still getting this problem! Hopefully someone can help me, it'd be much appreciated!

    Okay so this isn't really a fix, but I basically 'reset' the problematic household by saving it to my library, evicting them and then re-placing them in the same house and it doesn't come up with the error anymore! Only thing is that it removed the genealogy/family tree but I'm pretty sure I can redo that using mods. Not necessarily a fix but my game doesn't have this error anymore, in case anyone had the same issue. (Or might help solve this problem if there's some kind of hidden small business trait or something.) I also noticed that the person who owned the business had died and it didn't pass along to anyone else in the household? So it said it was a small business residential but the household didn't actually own a small business..?
