[BH] Irresistible Scent can't be fully turned off or removed

Today,  I was reloading the game a lot as i tracked down a problem mod after the update, and noticed that the smoky effect IS still there, when you load up the game, though it does not appear to play when the business is open:

After noticing this, i once again tried with no mods, and it was still there. I have the same perks as in the first screenshot. 

Tried a few things to get rid of it, (and yes, i did this without mods) up to selling the business and bulldozing the lot and it's stuck GOOD.  First, I wanted to see if it was the lot or the sim it was stuck to. Sold the business, moved Johnny to a different lot, had the roomate that was left behind (Layne Coffin after i killed him with laughter lol. but luckily he comes with 2 very high performance skills to work with) start a new business. 

Still there, on a completely fresh baby business, no perks taken yet at all, with a sim that had not ever owned a business before, and the original business owner no longer there. 

Just to confirm, I went back to Johnny and had him also open a new business and opened it. No Irresistible Scent animation played, though I kept it open for several hours. (yes, I moved him into the Landgraabs house for the test cus lol) 

So it's the LOT. (The Old Salt House in the spice district but I doubt it matters) It must have been when he took the perk, it got attached to the lot. Unfortunately this was long ago, since i am a rotational player, even if it hasn't been too long in terms of playing AS him, I have played families in between so as far as overall progress goes...  so  no going back now, and it is the perfect location.

so. Back to Layne, I bulldozed the lot and opened with an empty lot and a guitar. didn't see it occur. so it's some kind of hidden object that got deleted when I bulldozed the lot? when you take the perk, it generates these objects? the brown smoke emitters? 

Tried saving the lot and placing it in a bulldozed lot but it seems to have brought the problem with it.  Tried turning on the show hidden objects cheat but couldn't see anything. Is my only solution with the main save really to bulldoze the lot and start over?
