Since the Console 2.17 update, another issue has appeared with Businesses & Hobbies when playing on Playstation 5:
A Sim can't visit a small business on another Sim's house lot. The only options are to visit the house or move in a family from the Library. After traveling to this lot, the Sim can't be a customer of the small business; they only have the option to buy or open their own business (even though their business is assigned to their home). This has happened every time with different families and different small businesses.
