I do not know if this is a bug or an intended feature, but if it is the latter it renders all food-focused businesses in the newest pack completely unviable.

Same problem for me too. Whether intentional or a bug, this renders food based small businesses highly dysfunctional. The cold food displays - all of them, from B&H, the bonus item one, and GtW - need updated to work like the Home Chef Hustle table.
