I do not know if this is a bug or an intended feature, but if it is the latter it renders all food-focused businesses in the newest pack completely unviable.

I don't know if this helps, but I think it goes beyond the sale issue. I had my sim create nectar, she ended up with four bottles (like normal). I just took the whole group, because I always forget to expand it in these situations, and went to put it in the nectar bottle holder thing. Instead of then ending up with a second nectar bottle that is dragging around and needs me to click back into the inventory, the whole group disappeared, but now there's only one bottle in the holder. So I lost three bottles. Not a huge loss, they were poor quality lol. But still, I have a feeling that it's the glitch this is discussing that's causing that, too. It seems quite similar.
