I do not know if this is a bug or an intended feature, but if it is the latter it renders all food-focused businesses in the newest pack completely unviable.

I have the same issue and it took me a while to realize why I wasn't making enough money to cover the production costs. I'm separating every serving now, but it makes it almost unplayable to have a genuine bakery.
