Sorry, I haven't had a chance to try a clean folder. I did find an odd workaround, though. I realized the business classes were working in all my other saves and with all my other sims -- just not my main one, who was a vampire. I cheated and turned her back into a regular sim and it worked fine. (The problem isn't occults, one of my other business class attending sims is a fairy, so it's specific to vampires.)
could you try the class at night to see if that works for the vamp ?
